Test driving slots are available from 10.00am - 4.00pm
Test driving of vehicles in 2013 will take place on both the Stowe and the Grand Prix circuits as well as a public road option. The Stowe Circuit is situated a few
minutes away from the Silverstone Wing and the Grand Prix Circuit is accessed from the pit garages, directly below the exhibition halls.
There will be provision for visitors to book provisional test drives in advance, direct with the relevant motor manufacturer, though all bookings will be at the
manufacturer’s discretion.
Anyone wishing to test drive a vehicle will need to show both parts of their driving licence on registration at the event.
The Stowe Circuit
This will have a speed limit restricted to 60mph, this avoids the requirement for customers to wear a crash helmet. All Stowe Circuit drives MUST have a manufacturer’s representative to accompany the driver in every vehicle. You do not have to provide professional instructors, but it is important to have someone who can help explain the benefits of the vehicle whilst being driven around the circuit.
The Grand Prix Circuit
There is no speed limit on the Grand Prix circuit, as a result ALL passengers will be required to wear crash helmets and be accompanied by a professional instructor.
